What makes it special?
Ask one of the knowledgeable Diamonds International® experts to distill the entire Crown Of Light® story and you’re likely to hear, “It’s all about relationships. The relationship of the angles determines the fire and scintillation!” A Crown of Light diamond has nearly twice the number of facets than a conventional round brilliant diamond has. But there’s more to it than the number of facets needed to elevate a diamond to its highest potential. It’s a matter of those facets shape, size, angle and their relationship to each other.
A Crown Of Light diamond has 90 facets. A conventional round diamond has 57 or 58 facets. The facets act like mirrors to reflect light back to the eye of the viewer. So if a diamond has twice the number of facets as a conventionall round diamond, it can be handle light in a more spectacular manner.
Consider the relationship of the facets to each other, and their shape and size. This all contributes to the light performance of a Crown Of Light Diamond. The relationship of each part creates a masterpiece of brilliance.
